Our mounts are engineered to fit a range of pylon sizes, with specific models like The Kraken Flag Mount designed for 3" pylons. Please check product descriptions for exact dimensions.
Our Titan Series mounts are precision-engineered from high-strength materials for exceptional durability. While rigorously tested for demanding watersport conditions, a safe top speed is ultimately determined by real-world factors like wind, water chop, and flag size—not just the throttle.
Because these dynamic forces vary greatly, we do not provide a specific speed rating. The vessel's operator is always responsible for making a safe judgment call. Please note that continuous use at excessive speeds will accelerate wear and tear on your flagpole and other accessories.
IMPORTANT SAFETY GUIDELINE:
For the safety of the person being towed, we have a firm recommendation: Do not exceed 22 mph when actively towing a person (skier, wakeboarder, tuber, etc.) while a flag is also installed and extended on the mount.
TL;DR:
The mounts are built tough, but for high speeds, conditions like wind and waves matter more than just the throttle. You're the captain, so you have to make the safe call. Hard rule: If someone's on the line behind you, stay under 22 mph with a flag up.

Absolutely! All our Titan Series gear is made with durable, corrosion-resistant materials specifically to handle saltwater, sun, and other harsh marine conditions.
A Note on the Trident Flag Staff:
Our Trident staff is completely weatherproof and built to handle the elements. However, it is not 100% weather sealed. This means that after being fully submerged or left in prolonged, heavy rain, a small amount of water may find its way inside the telescoping sections.
If this occurs, care is simple. First, unscrew and remove the stainless-steel anchor ring from the top of the staff. Then, carefully invert the staff to allow any trapped water to drain completely from the top opening.
For optimal long-term care, we recommend positioning the staff securely upside down (e.g., resting in a corner) and fully extended until it has completely air-dried. This will ensure no moisture remains before stowing it away.
TL;DR:
Yes, all our gear is built to live in the sun and salt. The mounts are fully weatherproof. If your Trident flag pole gets swamped (like in a downpour or if it's submerged), just unscrew the anchor ring at the top and turn the pole upside down to let any water drain out.
Rinse with fresh water after exposure to saltwater and dry thoroughly. For tougher grime, use a mild soap and a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive tools.
